Who Julie Is?

Julie Quinn — Founder & CEO, CannaReps

Julie Quinn has spent 25 years at the intersection of sales excellence and cannabis education. She began her career winning President's Club awards seven consecutive years as a top telecom sales performer — on part-time hours. As the first female Apple Expert in Canada, she led the national training rollout for the iPhone 4 launch, setting a benchmark for expert-led customer education that she later brought to cannabis.

After relocating to Vancouver, Julie took over a struggling cannabis dispensary and rebranded it as Aura Cannabis. She transformed it from 14 daily visitors to 150–200 customers per day, with a $90 average basket — winning three consecutive Lift Awards, including Best Dispensary in Western Canada, in a market of 400+ competitors.

That experience revealed the gap she'd spend the next decade solving: cannabis retail had no standardized quality framework. Budtenders were selling on THC% and price, not science and outcomes. In 2018, Julie co-founded CannaReps with industry veteran Adolfo Gonzalez to change that. Today, CannaReps has trained 2,000+ certified graduates across 200+ organizations.
